Dec 20, 2021
In keeping traditions going, something that is vastly needed as life progresses ever so hastily, dive into the 38th year of the cost of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." PNC is at it again as they set out to calculate the cost of each gift on all 12 days in this inflation heavy economy.
Due to the anomaly that the year 2020 was, the data gathered for 2021 was compared to 2019 in the PNC Christmas Price Index (the compiled research acquired to estimate the cost of each gift from all twelve days). The total amount it would take to drown your True Love in all 12 gifts would be $41,205.58 (+5.7% from 2019). If you're that person guilty of over shopping, then all 364 gifts from the entire song's repetition of daily gifts would come in at a grand total of $179,454.19 (+5.4% from 2019).
Even though there may still be time left to buy all the gifts, since the official twelve days of Christmas begins on Christmas and continues the following days after, good luck acquiring them all with the supply chain issues we're facing! Maybe you can get on the waiting list for 2022.
