With Christmas around the corner, it's time again for that holiday song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and to see how each of those gifts tallied up in value this year. For the 40th year, PNC set out to calculate the cost of each gift on all 12 days. Now you don't have to wonder, you can actually know!
After the past several of years of supply chain issues and increased price shock, we might finanlly be acclimated to the inflation surge with a modest increase in the PNC Christmas Price Index (the compiled research acquired to estimate the cost of each gift from all twelve days). For your True Love to have all 12 days of gifts, you're in for $46,729.86 (+2.7% from 2022). For the over-acheiver in the relationship, your True Love can have it all, all 364 gifts from the entire song's repetition of daily gifts, for a grand total of $201,972.66 (+2.5% from 2022).
As a reminder, the official twelve days of Christmas begins on Christmas and continues the following days after. Have fun sourcing all the gifts. Maybe a gift card might suit your True Love a bit better...just a thought.
